Use

MeshLens currently only supports IdP initiated SSO auth flow, so please make sure you always start from the SSO portal to authenticate. You might need to reauthenticate after the configured session duration of the SSO application.

  • Ability to surface areas that need the attention the most.

• Data Product inventory with advanced search capability.
  • Filter data products on multiple fields with and/or predicates.
  • Order by Quality Score to find the lower ones.
  • Find expiry status of data products based on freshness data.

• Mesh Graph Visualization to get deeper insights to relations.
  • View overall mesh with data products, teams, domains, tags, and roles.
  • Drill down to a data product node and view all neighbor nodes.
  • Drill down to a dataset node and view outgoing path during impact analysis.
  • Find the details of a data product such as its inputs, outputs, domain, and team.
  • Select an input or output dataset of a data product to find its reader and writer roles or last update time.
  • Navigate to the original resources in AWS using self links.
  • Navigate to the data quality results to further investigate.
  • Discover unexpected relation or a missing one.

Retrieved metadata

MeshLens maintains the received metadata and its recovery and availability within the scope of the MeshLens use case and the product and does not support retrieval of it outside the WebApp access.
